Healthcare At Home

We are excited to announce we are able to give you secure access to your doctor from the comfort and safety of your own home! Our clinic is committed to providing excellent service to all of our patients, especially in their time of need. This service is available for both NEW and RETURNING patients. If you have any healthcare needs, please call us at 503-855-4341 to schedule or visit our website at https://nwim.org/online-scheduling/. You can also contact your provider directly through your online patient portal.

Over the next few weeks, you may be contacted to have your appointments transitioned to telemedicine visits as we are limiting our in-person visits to those with acute and urgent needs. Physical medicine and blood draw will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

The Cost: In late March, the Oregon Health Authority ordered all insurance carriers to offer comprehensive telemedicine services to ensure you had continued access to your providers. Most insurance carriers have jumped on this, including the Oregon Health Plan and you should have the same coverage for telehealth visits as for in-person visits during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, there continues to be variation from plan to plan and it is always good to check with your carrier about coverage*. If you do not have telemedicine coverage, call our office to ask about cash pricing for this non-covered service.

How to Start Your Appointment: If you are scheduled for a telemedicine visit, please download the Zoom app on your computer or mobile device. You will join your visit from the link within the appointment confirmation email or from within the patient portal. In the patient portal, click “Appointments” and click the “Check-in” button. You can join the meeting up to 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time. We suggest logging in at least 10 minutes prior to your first appointment to ensure you are on time for your visit.

Whether you are an essential worker or not, families everywhere are impacted by the Stay Home, Stay Safe Act. We are all in this together and we are here to support you. Thank you to all of you participating in this massive effort to protect our most vulnerable community members. You are making a difference and helping to save lives.

Health and Happiness,
