About Dr. Mary

As a naturopathic physician, Mary looks at every aspect of your health – body, mind, emotions, and spirit – to understand how imbalances can occur. She believes they’re all connected, so when one area is off, it can affect the others. Mary’s goal is to help you not only get back to your best but also to thrive and become more resilient.

She specializes in preconception and fertility (for all genders) and mental health, particularly depression and anxiety. But Mary enjoys tackling a variety of concerns and working with diverse patient groups. She’s always learning and loves unraveling complex health issues.

Expect more than just pharmaceuticals from Mary. Alongside traditional medications, she offers natural alternatives like lifestyle changes, nutrition advice, and herbal medicine. Her treatment plans are tailored to you, drawing from your history, lab results, research, and her own clinical expertise.

Mary graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine, specializing in botanical and anthroposophic medicine. She’s served in community clinics across Portland and even provided care in rural Nicaragua.

When she’s not working, Mary’s a mom to two kids and a pup. In her free time (what little there is!), she enjoys Argentine tango, hiking to waterfalls, and soaking up the ocean vibes. She’s also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, adding a multicultural touch to her practice.
