Say “Hello” to Dr. Jade Wienbar

by | Oct 19, 2022 | Uncategorized

Hello to current and future patients of Northwest Integrative Medicine,

My name is Dr. Jade Wienbar, and I am a new doctor here at NWIM. I am a licensed naturopathic physician completing my first year of residency, and I am excited for the opportunity to work with you! My passion is naturopathic primary care that is personalized and accessible to everyone. I believe healthcare outcomes improve with a greater understanding of the interplay between systems that control our bodies. The fastest way to improve the health of these systems is to discover the root of their dysfunction. I appreciate the full range of tools that naturopathic medicine has to offer and am a firm believer in the integrative health model. While I enjoy using herbal medicine, homeopathy, nutraceuticals, and bodywork, pharmaceuticals and conventional treatments also play an important role in my treatment plans when needed.

I aim to create a space where my patients feel seen and heard and able to work with me toward their health goals. It is a top priority of mine to offer an alternative to common healthcare models that so often deny patients opportunities to understand the full scope of their health. I hope that together we can make your journey feel well-supported.

I have always been a lover of science and completed my undergraduate degree in cell and developmental biology. In the years that followed, I traveled throughout the world, exploring my love for bodywork and the myriad of human experiences.  I became passionate about the healing power of touch. Naturopathic medicine encourages my love for science and spirituality. I hope to cultivate my practice in a way that incorporates bodywork, trauma-informed care, and treatments that make my patients feel empowered.

I am excited to practice primary care and work with a variety of patients including families and their kiddos. My special interests are in women’s health, endocrinology and hormone management, mental health, GI health, and IV therapy. I have been shadowing at the clinic for the last year or so and am very excited to be joining the incredible team of providers at NWIM. I look forward to meeting you and working with you soon!

With gratitude,

Dr. Jade Wienbar
